The Austin Powers franchise is a series of three American satirical spy comedy films, starring creator Mike Myers as the titular British spy and his archenemy Dr. Evil. The films are parodies of 1960's spy thrillers such as the James Bond movies and the archetype of 1960s Swinging London. All three movies feature attractive female androids, Dr. Evil's Fembots, who try and fail to assassinate Austin Powers, terminally malfunctioning or self-destructing. These Fembots are a reference to 1965 film Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine, and also draw from 1976 TV series The Bionic Woman

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery is a 1997 American spy comedy film directed by Jay Roach, and the first installment in the Austin Powers series of films. It stars Mike Myers as the titular British spy Austin Powers and his archenemy Dr. Evil, who are both cryogenically frozen in 1967 then unfrozen thirty years later.

The film features the Fembots, beautiful female androids created by Dr. Evil's henchwoman Frau Farbissina, equipped with machine guns concealed in their breasts. Used to seduce and lead Austin Powers astray, he gets them to malfunction and self-destruct by using his sexual aura, his "Mojo", and performing a strip-tease.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me is a 1999 American spy comedy film directed by Jay Roach, and the second film in the Austin Powers series.

The film features Vanessa Kensington, Austin Powers' reluctant partner turned bride. She is revealed as one of Dr. Evil's Fembots in the opening scene of the movie, when a VCR remote control gets her to act in reverse, silences her and make her speak Spanish. As she tries to choke Austin, he rips her face off. She drops him and wastes the room with machine guns concealed in her breasts, before setting herself to explode.

Austin Powers in Goldmember is a 2002 American spy comedy film directed by Jay Roach, and the third in the Austin Powers film series.

Singer Britney Spears appears as a Fembot duplicate of herself during the opening credits, where Austin stumbles upon the music video shoot of her song "Boys" while visiting a Hollywood studio. As they engage in a dance battle, the Britney android tries to assassinate him with machine guns concealed in her breasts. Austin he dodges the bullets and counters with his "Mojo", getting the Fembot to malfunction, its head jerking around and eventually exploding.
