In the Star Trek universe, a Soong-type android is any android created by or based on an android created by Dr. Noonien Soong.
Features of Soong-type androids

- Removable arms, legs, and head
- Positronic brain
- Various access panels
- The males all resemble him
Known Soong-type androids
- Lt. Commander Data - Destroyed
- Lore - Deactivated
- B4 - Deactivated
