“Thanks, now I’ll reboot,” she said, and then her face went blank. “A.I. Abby James is rebooting…stand by,” she said, and then she stopped moving and I suddenly heard all the components within her open panel stop; an occasional light would blink, but that was probably the diagnostics running.
Chad couldn't help but smile shyly. "Like this, Bee-Bee." He sat down on the floor, pulled a cushion up to his butt and extended his feet under the table.
 
“Well Abby, I’m going to take an unobtrusive look at you while I wait,” I said, and I went all the way to the end of the bed where her feet where at and gently picked up her left foot. In addition to having a robo-fetish, I also had a foot fetish and it pained me that in over a year of knowing her, that I was never given the opportunity to see her feet. Even now, they were still in socks and I was half tempted to take them off, but I wished for her to do it herself, so I instead performed and unscientific whiff test on her socked feet and was surprised to smell real perspiration. After I enjoyed myself, I gently set her foot back down and listened for any noises from her open panel.
 
“I guess you’re not finished yet Abby, I can’t wait until you are,” I said, feeling the edges of the open panel where her skin became metal. “Wow, your dad’s a genius,” I said, feeling her realistic skin that I had felt in different locations for over a year, but never here before. It seemed that her metal framework was some sort of metallic-plastic alloy that could bend almost the same way as a human body could, while still staying firm. I couldn’t even imagine what her skin was made of, all I knew was that it looked, felt and smelled exactly like real skin should…I just hoped that a real girl didn’t lose her skin so my Abby could be created.


After five minutes went by, I got a little worried…almost like I usually do with my laptop when I don’t know how long a critical update/diagnostic is going to take. My fears were soon alleviated when I saw a bunch of lights activate in her open panel and I heard her hardware turn back on. Almost in evidence of her acclaimed sentience, I didn’t see any pattern in the blinking of the lights, which meant that she couldn’t be any mere computer program, but her own artificial identity. As the sounds got louder, I absentmindedly took Abby’s left hand and held it as though she were on a hospital bed.
"Don't you give me orders, bitch," Boom-Boom glared at him as she awkwardly imitated Chad's movement. Much as she would have liked to seem in control, the android had clearly never done anything like this—nor did she have any reference images implanted in her mind. Her power over her world was gone. Doffing her sunglasses, she awkwardly strained to get her long, perfect legs under the table, bending down so far that her huge bosom almost strained its way out of her top. "Sometimes a girl's asked to do somethin' unreasonable. Somethin' unreasonable. Somethin' unreasonable. Somethin' unreasonable."


“Diagnostics complete…all systems are functional…booting systems…Memory: booted, Personality: booted, now booting A.I….Complete…now starting A.I. Abby James,” she said, and then she blinked her eyes and smiled at me.
She groped around her for a cushion, seized one—and froze. Her system had crashed.
