“May I take a closer look at your brain?”
This would have been a great plan. If she had plugged herself in before the diagnostic program had started. Usually the computer can handle the task of processing and establishing a connection with Sui-Feng while still performing the check. But not when the check is of two incredibly complex robots at once. The added task overloads the system, and it attempts to force quit the check in order to prevent damages. But when the diagnostics are forced to quit… the two robots are put into an automated reboot. It is not clear exactly how this entire process plays out, but Sui-Feng is able to understand that something is going wrong. Her computer shoves all sorts of warnings onto her HUD. While she doesn’t understand why, she does see the words “Force reboot initiated.” That’s going to be a problem. She quickly pulls the wire out of her and jumps back. This further corrupts the data within the computer but that is the least of her concerns. As she watches the two robots rise from their tables and stretch their stiff hinges.


“Sure."


“Thanks,” I said, and I dove back in and got a closer look at her brain. Her brain was a large cluster of computer components with a multitude of wires leading in and out of it from all over her body. It seemed that there was a cluster of microprocessors behind it, possibly accessed through a rear panel, but in the middle of the cluster was a box shaped device that protruded from the rest slightly. It appeared to have a small monitor on it, as well as a speaker. “Becca, what is this box shaped thing in the middle here?”
Yoruichi hops off of the table and looks around the room. She puts her hands on her hips as she assesses the situation. It takes a second for all her systems to get up and running, but eventually she is able to access her memory bank “So this is where you were hiding all this time… B-but why was I looking for you a-again?” Yoruichi asks out loud. It seems Sui-Feng was at least successful in removing her knowledge and allegiance to her creators. But it is unclear how she will react or continue without something in it’s place.


“Well, that’s actually my brain, the rest is just a processing station which translates the sense information from the rest of my body to my A.I., and the commands from my A.I. to the rest of my body,” she explained, "Basically it's like a disc player, and my brain is the disc."


“Can it be removed?"
Harribel is next to pipe up. She mumbles to herself as she relieves all of the moments leading up to this. “So we were fighting… until she captured us… m-my fraccion tried to save me… b-b-but what was I doing here in the first place…?” She slowly says. Harribell and Yoruichi then look at each other. They suddenly take fighting stances once they recognise who the other is. But they quickly realise there is no drive in their mind to continue fighting. Both have memories of their previous battle, but it’s almost like their head hurts, their processor runs hot, when they try to remember why.
 
“Of course, otherwise it would be much harder to transfer me to a new body. I’ve had three different bodies, so far, as each one ages to a certain point, a new body is then created,” she explained, and then she stopped, “Would you like to remove it?”
 
“Is it safe?” I asked, quite taken aback at her question.
 
“Yes, my brain isn’t hot to touch,” she assured me, “and don’t be afraid to examine the rest of my body while I am out…just don’t take any of my clothes off."
 
“Alright, if you say so,” I said, and I carefully reached in and then pulled the box until it came loose. The second her brain came out, a few lights blinked red and then her body stopped moving. Aside from that, nothing else happened. “Wow, this is cool!” I said, looking at the small box that was now in my hand. It was roughly the size of several portable hard drives put together. On the front was a screen with a speaker and microphone next to it, and all along the sides were a series of fiber optic connection points, as well as a next-gen USB port on the front. The back appeared to house a complicated power pack, allowing her brain to still be online despite being disconnected from her body. Although it was not hot, it was still quite warm since Becca’s mind was inside of it.
 
“Wow, this feels weird,” Becca’s voice sounded perfectly from the speaker.
