Two halves of the forearm and two halves for the upper arm. They are disconnected mostly out of assembly convenience rather than any design requirements. The bicep and tricep pieces are shaped to give the impression of incredible musculature. The final design will have a couple final layers to make the visual more convincing, but the metal plates are the core of the body's physique.
