Anything to save her as she is inundated by these digital attacks. Just as her finger brushes the sleek plastic of her keyboard, it is suddenly pulled away from the device. Instead it is brought right up to her side to wave at the screen once again. Scratchy and unclear sound is emitted from her burnt out speaker, and her lips form words she didn’t think of. “Hi Dave. Wis-wish-wishing you the best.” She says. Some chatter had just wanted to see his favorite streamer say hello to him specifically. But he is one of a thousand, and they all have a say in what they do with only a few dollars. | |||
This time she isn’t even given a chance to reach out again before she is forced into a new pose. The signal strikes her system like a bolt of lightning, causing a barely perceivable shiver across her whole body. | |||
Zentraya is completely trapped in place. Just as she is granted freedom, it is ripped away from her right away. As if the amorphous crowd of chatters have condensed into a singular hand that keeps tugging the carrot on a stick in front of her. | |||
Internally, she can still think. But that just means she can feel just how worse at thinking she is. With the burning hot CPU, each thought formulated in her computer takes twice as long. Lagging behind the usual incredible speeds her specs are capable of outputting. And that isn’t accounting for the constant interruptions every new donation registers and causes. So despite being forced to wait and think as her body is constantly puppeteered, she just doesn’t have the capacity to strategise or solve the problem at hand. | |||
