I never read Magnus Robot fighter while it was current. I randomly found the magazines at laundromats, second hand bookstores and flea markets. For the longest time I was not able to piece the continuity of the series but I was blessed with owning issue 24 with the iconic "death" of Tekla. For the longest time I wondered what happened next. Unfortunately the aftermath of Tekla CPU destruction and subsequent repair was resolved on another valiant series which I have never investigated properly about. So now she abruptly returns with a new hairdo that I assume the artists found rather more easy to draw than her previous Iconic form. I like to call her Tekla 2.0 character assassination as I don't know what happened in that other Valiant comics series but now Tekla has romantic feelings toward Magnus rather than her diplomatic and logical approach to human beings. Magnus was also given an armor and all previously death allied robot characters have come back as a deus ex. I still find this series a fun trip. I hope in a more sustainable future magazines make a come back but I am not going to wait awake.Battery (talk)
