Rabbit Hunting

(Supplementary story for Seaguard’s animation)

( https://bsky.app/profile/seaguard.bsky.social/post/3mlyuxzjx6k26 Animation in question)

“And you're sure the bitch is here?” (DESI) asks their fellow merc, sceptically. Looking around the mostly abandoned area that they found themselves walking on through, in.

“100% sure! The data log points straight to here since the rouge unit last used their access to the CE net” (AERI) answered, and tapped a claw on the screen of their tracking device, which showed a 3D map of the area, together with their current location and the blip of their supposed target.

“Hm… If you say so.” DESI retorted with skepticism in her voice. “I’m still not too big of a fan about this…”

“What? Just you and I doing this solo?” The bird bot asks with a raised eyebrow.

“No, dumbass! The reprograming part once we get ‘em!” She blurted out at AERI. Staring daggers at her subordinate through the vizor of her helmet. “It just doesn't sit right with me”

Their companion lets out an exasperated groan. “Oh get over yourself you big baby-doll! A job’s a job, and the bosses were VERY transparent about snatching this one for our next job!” AERI squawked back. Annoyed at his comrade for having such a feeble motherboard, and concerning herself with the ‘feelings’ and ‘dreams’ of their kind, when it came to this matter.

“And care to remind me again what this random unit we are hunting can do? Since they are soooo important that we need to *EGO* wipe them, and install a new one that's loyal to us…” DESI questioned, with embers just sizzling on her synthetic tongue.

AERI rolled their mechanical eyes before reminding her of their target’s specs.

“Our target is an unregistered LO-PUN-I android, presumably having gone rogue. Data says that this unit somehow has access to CE’s network, tho only in limited form. The stranger part is how INSANELY good the unit is at breaking encryptions and firewalls, something that standard LO-PUN-I models are not capable of. This fact has led to the theory that ‘someone’ has tinkered with the Unit’s A.I, and made it a class 5, maybe even 6, Artificial intelligence…”

“Tsk! Only 4-3 classes from being one of them with a god complex… Lovely~... Beh!” DESI scuffs. “So what? We are dealing with a super hacker here?”

“Pretty much” He affirms. “So when we see them, we take them out immediately, else we can kiss our CPUs goodbye, when the bastard gets the small chance they need to tell them to go and cook off” He said, with dead seriousness.

“Yeah, yeah. I get that part fine and dandy…” She snaps a little. “But can’t we try and ‘talk’ them into joining us?” She asks after a small pause.

Aeri Rolls their eyes high and shakes their head. “You are welcome to try, but our orders still stand. We nab them, rather they, or YOU, like it or not. End of story!” He hisses, before returning his attention to the tracker.

DESI flips him a hard middle finger before scuffing with a scowl under her helmet.

After a while, they reach the entrance to the inner sanctum of the metropolic structure. AERI looks at the door, then lifts his tracker up in front of his eyes. It reads ‘Target close’, but the map and gps showing the interior and the target, was getting fogged over by static. Someone was jamming the signal…

“Damn it… Guess our little hacker friend has caught wind of us. The tracker is a bust now, so we’ll be going in blind…” The bird-bot said, as he stuffed the tracker down in his pocket. “Keep your optics open and be ready for anything… Hope your ready for close combat”

“Boy, i’m always ready!” She proclaimed. Pumping her left arm and grabbing the bicep of said limb with her right hand, showing off her ‘visually’ powerful might.

AERI just stares at her blankly, optics turning and spinning in their irises before they turn back to the door while mumbling some manner of slur.

Watching the bird wander off ahead, she lets out a small amused chuckle. But said chuckle dies fast in her throat, once she spots the camera up in the corner of the ceiling, staring intensely down at the two of them.

“......” The combat deer stared long at the cam. Her hud, scanning the old device, trying to hijack it and find out where it’s feed goes to, but something was blocking her, HARD.

“...Getting a bad feeling of this…” She whispered to herself, before following after their feathered friend.

—----------------- Meanwhile… deeper inside the block —-----------------

“Hmmm… Looks like I finally got a bit too rowdy with my access privileges.” The lopunny model mused, as she analyzed her unexpected ‘visitors’ through the surveillance camera that hung in the corner of the entrance they now walked by.

“Hmmmmm… A EF-HPAU_AVI and MP-ML_DOE unit… Heh, this gonna be a cake walk~!” The Lop, now going under the alias Cipher, exited the building’s net and rose from her seat with a cocky smirk on her lips.

“Time to show these ruks how a badass operates!” She proclaimed with a giggle, before strutting off to stage an ambush for the two mercs headed her way.

They won’t know what hit ’em!~

—------------- Back with the mercs… —-------------

Wandering through the corridors of this abandoned part of the metropolis, the two mercs could see how much disrepair this place was in. Ceiling boards were gone, as cables and wires hung like dormant tendrils. Thankfully, the lights were all still operational, illuminating the halls with a matted yellow glow, which for the two mercs, made them ‘feel’ like they were at home… Said homes being the very factories that made them, just, they were less deteriorated then this whole dump of a construct.

“Holy… This place is a complete dump! Weren’t this whole thing a hotspot for all manner of industry and what not?” DESI questioned their companion. Stepping over a large hole in the metal floor in her steady pursuit of the bird.

“It IS an activity hotspot!” The bird chipped with a slight annoyance in his voice. “If you had just requisite some of your computing RAM to actually read the brief, you would know that this part of the complex is for the bottom-of-the-barrel units who are kept together by duct tape and, as the humies would say, ‘sheer determination’... So given the state of this place, its VERY fitting for trash like that” He explained, before almost tripping over the emptied skull of a Monkey model. “*Chirp!* Son of a glitch!”

“Pah! How about you start paying more attention to where you're going, instead of putting all your eggs in on your speeches!” DESI laughed. “And you know damn well I don't give two shits about reading the flavor text! The only parts I care about is if the job’s a kill or grab one” She answered his first retort with her own.

“*Sigh* Whatever! Just… Keep your eyes peeled for anything out of the nor-”

“What? Like those two heeps by the vending machine?”

“Huh?!” AERI turned to where the deer was pointing, and sure enough, lying by and up against the spareparts vending machine separately, were two half dismantled assembly units of canine make. All manner of symbols and doodles were scribbled across their frames, either as some kind of tally marks, or marks of conquest, neither were concrete in answer.

“...Uh, well… Yeah, like THAT, but i meant more like something mov-”

“Wow, whoever did this really tore into them… Hell, this bitch’s vejaja have been brutaly torn out, like the guy that did it was in a hurry or something!” DESI remarked, having ’magically’ moved past and over to the trashed units without AERI noticing, and now squatting down by said offline unit, poking one of its tits with a finger. “...You think our target did this?” AERI looks up from the two broken bots and to the vending machine behind them. On the machine, there’s been plastered the graffiti of a very stylised ‘9-6’ on the glass of it. Running a quick scan through the database, the bird looks back down at the two Assembly units and spots the exact same numbers drawn on them as well. On the forehead of the female unit, and on the ass of the male unit.

“Naaa, that ain’t our guy… According to my data, this is the work of a terror group simply called ‘9-6’. They’ve been causing quite the stir for the corpos for a while now, and they haven’t seemed to have lost any manner of steam to their deranged course” He told, before his eyes fell over the tooted up male with the missing arms again. Starring with calculated eyes into their blank dark ones, as they likewise stared back at him.

“Oh, right! Those guys” She exclaimed, just now recalling where she saw that set of numbers from. “I should have known from the get’go just by the tattoos on ‘em…” She said, and rose back up om her hoves. “Wait… If this is their doing, should we be concerned that we are on their, at least I would take it is their’s, tuff?”

AERI looks at her stoically for a moment. Calculating different scenarios together with what data he can find, before an audible ‘Beep’ plings from him. “Naa, I wouldn't count on it… I deduced a 77.6% chance of them having left the complex for somewhere else more ‘disruptive valid’... ” He assessed.

“And what does the last percentage say?” DESI asked, looking at the bird with a fist on her hip. Looking rather contempted by the bird-bot’s fail-proof calculations.

“10% that they are still here. 10% that they know we are here and decide to attack at any moment… and 2.4% that we’ll walk into a concealed IED and be taken offline for good…” He answered with a straight face. Eyes blinking twice in quick succession.

“...Wowie! Thanks a lot! That sure did put my combat subroutine at ease!...” She said after a small pause of just staring at him dead in the face. Her voice, cheery like a strawberry, yet was obvious that each word was just pure sarcasm. “*Siiiiggghhh* By the creators, you use that shit way too much”

“Hmph! ‘Why change what isn’t broke?’. Wasn’t that a saying you picked up from the fleshies?” He asked, sass apparent in his words. “My point is, I'm the brains, and you're the brawns. So you just stick to your lane and don’t lecture ME about being the ‘stupid’ one, and i’ll stick to mine” He hissed at the end, before walking off towards the left wing of the cross section they stood in.

“I didn't even say you were a dumb piece of scrap…” she mumbled under her nonexistent breath, before following close behind the disgruntled bird.

But as AERI trotted his way to the end of the corridor, just about to round it, from around said corner, like a speeding bullet straight from hell, a leg came flying into his beaked mug. Their target, having sat in wait for them this whole time, introduced herself by mercilessly decapitating the bird with a flying axe-kick, causing their head to break off and slam onto their back, subsequently hanging down it, and held only by the cables and wires that connected it and the body together.

AERI’s systems went into full panic mode with the disruption of their command module, as, at the last second before impact, he ordered the system to engage his inbuilt arm-cannon. Aimed center-mass right at the rabbit, the weapon started blasting off. But the rabbit proved too fast for the bird, dodging the first salvo of rounds before grabbing the firing limb and tearing it clean off its shoulder socket, while at the same time kicking the malfunctioning bird to the ground as she tossed the dismembered limb to the side without a hint of remorse.

“Fucking hell!!” DESI yelled, quickly grabbing her pistol and whipping it up. Safety damn well off and aimed right at the bunny’s head.

Cipher turns to her, looks at her blankly for a moment, and then smiles sly-ly. “Hmhmhmm~ Well well~ Ain’t you a sexy piece of silicon up close~” She remarked. Red, trixy optics, scanning the deer from head to hoves.

“Don’t you move a single servo, you B-Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi-” DESI looped, as her whole body was locked up completely. Hud lighted up red with warnings of security breaches in her whole system! The stupid cunt had hacked her that fast?! DESI was only stun locked in her own mind for but a millisecond until she saw Cipher approaching her frozen frame, and immediately went to combat the bitch’s cyber attack!.

Cipher meanwhile, hummed a little tune as she approached the frozen deer unit. Saying a little ‘Heh~’ as she bashes both the pointed gun out of DESI’s hand, and their outstretched arm out of her way.

“Hmmmm, pretty busty there, pal~ Lets have a closer look at them~” She says, gripping the zipper of Des’s jacket and ripping it down, before gripping both edges and ripping them apart, exposing the deer’s well-rounded tits and hard dark nipples to the cold air of the complex…

Ooo-lala~ Well ain’t these girls a nice pair” She remarked with admiration, and grabbed both of them in both hands. Getting a nice FEEL for DESI’s main power modules.

DESI couldn’t help but moan internally, while she was still hard at work to break free of this techno-witch’s spell. She swore that she would tear this bitch apart once she got loose!

“Hmmm~ Soft and hard, just how í like ‘em~” She remarked, before letting go of the deer’s udders. “You’ll make one fine ‘pet’ for me~” She hummed with a sinister smirk on her lips, as she stared deep into DESI’s processor with those null red eyes.

“Now, just have to get this helmet off ya and we can get to the fun part~” She chipped while reaching up to grasp the deer’s helmet.

‘Shit! Shit! SHIT!’ DESI thought, as she had barely beaten half of the breach in her system to even do anything yet. She was running out of time!

“Woof! How did you put this helmet on? It just won’t come off!” Cipher complained, as she practically pulled on not only the helmet, but also DESI’s head.

With all the warnings blaring inside her, the imminent danger of having her code and mind rewritten at the whim of this harlot, and her inability to put up any kind of defense to all of this, something ‘primal’ deep inside her, awoke. On the inside, she bellowed out a roar of defiance, and through sheer, adulterated willpower, she forces her way through the hack she was under, and manages to compel her upper body to swing forward. Headbutting the hacking rat with a “-Bi-Bi-BITCH!!!” *BAM!*

Cipher got knocked back silly, but not only that, since she was actively hacking DESI, and she just upped and powered through Cipher’s hack to headbutt her, it created a kind of feed-back loop the moment their heads collided, which messed up the chocolate bunny’s CPU well and proper…

“Heh-hEh-HeH- Nice rack-ack-ack. Hey-y-y-y th-th-here sexy-Sexy piece of-of-of- Lets fuck!-lets fuck!-Lets fuc-*Ka-Chunk!*” DESI, after shaking her head clear of the nastiest version of a robot hangover, takes the opportunity to feed the malfunctioning rodent a heavy knuckle sandwich straight to their cheek. Knocking Cipher flat on her stomach with a hard ‘clunk!’

Fortunately for Cipher, that haymaker helped reboot her mind in a jiffy. Unfortunately tho, her current position left her open for the, extremely so, pissed off doe to bend down and grab her head with an iron grip. With the full and reasonable intention of tearing her dome clear off her shoulders.

“You little cuck-sucker! You’ve just lost your head privileges!” DESI growled, as her servos revved up, ready to do the bloody deed.

But Cipher wasn't gonna go out like a common bitch-bot, so when the doe had pulled her far enough up, she turned the table in the blink of an eye. Pushing back for a moment, she then snaps her leg backwards around, hooking it through the in between of DESI’s legs and up the crack of her ass, before tightening her myomer muscles, flipping her servos to max output, and flips herself and the combat deer around, with the doe going overhead and onto their back with a heavy boom!.

But Cipher wasn’t done, as just a millisecond after DESI landed, and she was standing on her head in that moment, the rabbit’s feet came crashing down on their helmeted head like a sledgehammer! Utterly shattering their headgear into three pieces. Miraculously enough, the helmet managed to take the whole brunt of Cipher’s devastating attack, leaving the doe with only minor injuries to her face.

The rabbit steps back, before going in for another stomp, but that’s when DESI’s Combat mode kicks in on overdrive. With athletic prowess, she rolls forward from her prone spot, narrowly avoiding having her main processor flatten, as she gets back on her hooves. Cipher, not giving her time to ‘breath’, throws a swing at her, but the doe was quick on the trigger, and chains her recovery into a turning kick, which the rabbit quickly blocked before getting pushed back from the force of it.

From here on, it was a game of who had the faster processing, as each unit scouted one another out with trading blows. Every move in their respective databases were utilised, but neither could get an inch above the other. DESI puts a knock-out combo into play, but Cipher counters it. Cipher calculates move patterns that would let her get close enough to deliver the killing blow, only for the doe to truck through her plans, and punish her for it with a kick or punch.

It truly was a stalemate for the ages…

But while these two were fighting, AERI’s self-repair protocol had just finished patching his head back on, before re-engaging his A.I matrix. “Ar-Ar-Ar*Ksst!* 我勒个去... 噢!你得—*Krrk!* -Willst du mich verarschen?! Raaa!*Krrk!* Kom nu dit forbandet-*Krrk!*-кусок дерьма, металлолом! ЕБАТЬ!!” He cursed at his oven voice box, as it short-circuits into different languages.

However, his attention was soon drawn to the two combatants in the room, as they continued to dance their lethal dance of death not too far from where he sat.

“*Krrk!*Ay, por el amor de…” He mutters out loud, before noticing DESI’s discarded pistol sitting just beside him. “......Vale, supongo que eso servirá!” He snaps a little, before snatching up the weapon and aiming it at the two ‘rock’em suck’em’ bots

However, as much as he would like to just fire away. Since he just had his head reconnected to the rest of his bod, his sight, and for that matter his auto aimer, were still out of sync. Static clouding his view a bit, making him re-evaluate his target, as he realised he had a fat chance of scoring a headshot on the bitch. But what his system told him he had a way better chance of hitting instead tho, was the very thing that made her so damn elusive for the two mercs.

It was a 50-50 of either hitting the mark, or blasting a few caps in DESI’s ass, according to the calculation he got back from his glitchy trajectory software. But given their current predicament, and the fact he was steadily bleeding energy the longer this drew on, AERI were willing to take that bet!

Raising the pistol once more, steadying his aim with an iron grip on the handle, and he fires away!

  • BANG! BANG!*

One shot misses while the other hits the bullseye and tears the rabbit’s left leg clean off. Causing the rabbit to stumble and fall to her knee, looking bamboozled for a sec before glaring at the bird-with-a-gat

“Er-Er-Er- Oof! Hey! That’s chea-*CLUNK!* *TZZT!*” She didn’t get to finish, before DESI, just like how Cipher did AERI when she introduced herself, decapitates her with a solid elbow jab down into the back of her chrome dome.

“CCHHHEEEAAA… Cchheeeaaaaa…. ccchhheeeaaaaaaauuuuuuhhh.....” The rabbit droned out with a deepening voice, as her head swong about for a few swings, before completely collapsing to the floor. Deactivated.

DESI glares down at the bitch rabbit, taking in long gulps of air to help cool down her heat sinks, taking a more relaxed stance as the danger has been dealt with. Then, she snaps her attention to the de-armed bird against the wall. “You good?” She asked them.

“I’m Fine-fine-FINE!. Achk! D-Dumb trash can-can really mes-sssss-esed up My-my-mY-my voice box-ox” He reported, now having managed to revert his voice back to english again, yet it continued to change pitch and accent flavor, constantly.

“Bah, that’s just superficial damage!” She retorted, and waved a dismissive hand “So long your core is fine then I won't have to worry about finding a new bird brain that hasn’t been lobotimized~” She joked, but AERI didn’t look amused.

“Ha Haa-ha-HAA-ha ha-HAa-ha. How-How-How funny youuuu are…” Tho glitched, the sarcasm was loud enough to be heard.

“Alright alright! Just get off your ass and grab your arm, then i’ll carry this bitch for the both of us…” She said, before turning back to the deactivated Lopunny and then crouching down to get a good hold of them. Sliding her arms underneath them, she picks them up like a bride, but instead of the normal way, she instead carries the rabbit upside down. Their ass facing up instead of facing down, and her head hanging freely down DESI’s side.

“You know…” Des began, as she stared with hungry eyes at the bunny buns on display. “We could have talked this out… But then you went and clocked my friend’s dome off, and then to add salt to injury, hack ME and then talk about turning me into ‘your’ PET… Suffice to say, I look FORWARD to seeing the techs back home breaking you down and turning YOU into OUR pet~!” She finished. Left knee held up to support the rabbit so her left arm was free, and then delivered a juicy smack across Cipher’s cheeks. The silicon buns wobble momentarily from the impact, as DESI lets out a hearty laugh, before following after their wounded companion with a lofty step.
