A comprehensive list of Animated productions containing fembots and equivalents. Please note that most Japanese animations may not be readily available, though some may be available on Fembot Central.

Anime

A-D

  • Android Announcer Maico 2010
    • Synopsis: Maico is Japan's newest radio DJ. When she is not working she must stave off assassins, crazed fans and a couple of office workers as well. She believes she was created just to be the perfect DJ. What she does not know is that she is really a sexdroid — a robot specifically designed for sexual intercourse. However, her creator Otari Masudamasu wanted her to be as close to human as possible and not a sex toy. Maico has never had sexual intercourse and is shy at times. She constantly learns about love and matters of the heart. She later meets another sexdroid Rei, Masudamasu's first android, who is designed to be like her late sister. After saving her from her evil controllers, who only used her to try to destroy Maico and as a sex toy, she and Maico become crime fighting DJs called Cherry-Bombs. The anime version differs from the manga, with less sexual themes, and no crime fighting involved. Also, there is no mention of her being a sexdroid, and Rei is never introduced.

  • Armitage III
    • Episode 1: Electro Blood
      • Synopsis: Armitage, a saucy Martian cop, and her partner, Sylibus, track a killer who is revealing his female victims' identities as highly-advanced androids. Sylibus discovers that Armitage is one of them before witnessing her dramatic standoff with the murderer.

      • Synopsis: The killer, D'anclaude, is in custody, but the androids, called Thirds, are still dying. Armitage's disappearance leads Mars PD to suspect that she's involved in the murders. Only Sylibus knows why she has taken the case into her own hands.

  • The Big O
    • Synopsis: Paradigm City is a place without a past. 40 years ago, something happened that wiped the memories of everyone in it. Unfortunately, the people of Paradigm City were very busy before then, making Megadueses (giant robots) and monsters. People who were born after the memory wipe are gaining/recovering memories of the past and using them to build newer threats. With the help of The Big O (a faithful giant robot), his butler Norman and the android Dorothy, Roger Smith keeps Paradigm City safe. As problems mount and more memories surface, Roger's past and Paradigm's future begin to become suspect...

      • The main fembot, R. Dorothy Waynewright, is a fembot copy of someone's daughter. She appears in the first episode and is then taken in by Roger to assist him throughout the series.
  • Blassreiter
    • Synopsis: The story is set in a fictional Germany and centers around the outbreak of biomechanical creatures named "Demoniacs", who rise from corpses and attack people mindlessly. The Demoniacs have the ability to merge with most technology including cars and motorcycles, not only gaining control of them but also enhancing their performance greatly. Against them is a group of people known as XAT, Xenogenesis Assault Team, who police these Demoniacs in an attempt to keep the peace and discover the reasons for the "Demoniac" change. All the while, a number of human-turned-Demoniacs appear. Some use their powers for good whilst others for evil. One will rise above all other Demoniacs to become the "Blassreiter".

      • Synopsis: In the beginning of the episode, two new characters are introduced. One of them, Maria, a "virtual idol" is talking with Yuji through his virtual reality helmet. She's a girl that only exists in cyberspace, but Yuji is convinced that she's a real girl. She tells him that she's going to meet him in the real world. Later that day, the police get a call from a kidnapper saying he's taken Maria hostage. Could she be a real person? Team Warrior is dispatched to find her or her program disk.

    • Episode 1: Prison Break
      • Synopsis: A notorious space pirate, known only as Mister, breaks out of jail 10 days before the end of his sentence. His goal is to get to Planet Graceland and recover $10 billion in hidden loot before the Federation blows Graceland (and the money) to bits.

    • Episode 3:
      • Synopsis: Although Miharu Amakase is reported hospitalized, Miharu appears in her classroom to everyone's astonishment. She is an android based on Miharu's appearance and personality, and Jun'ichi is charged with her care by his homeroom teacher Koyomi who also a researcher at the Amakase Laboratory.

      • Synopsis: Nemu discovers Miharu's secret when going to a theater together. Sakura and Jun'ichi reflect on the past together at her house, and Sakura tries to win Jun'ichi's affections. She reveals how the main cherry blossom tree was born with magical powers that their grandmother planted. The cherry blossom tree that grants the people of Hatsune-Jima wishes for their desire which causes the island’s sakura trees to bloom everlasting. Nemu also reflects on how she was taken into Jun'ichi's family and began to realise her own feelings for him.

      • Synopsis: Miharu the android, in order to become more like her human counterpart, attempts to search for Miharu's memories within herself, despite the fact that they weren't a part of her programming design, and the fact that such searching greatly shortens her lifespan. Jun'ichi spends the last moments with her.

  • Demon King Daimoa
    • Synopsis: This story of "love, magic, and battles" revolves around Akuto Sai, a boy who aims to become part of his country's highest order of magicians and contribute to society as one of its clergy. On the day he is admitted into the Constant Magical Academy, his aptitude test predicts the following: "Future Occupation: Demon King." Thus begins his severe school life in which he is resented by his studious female class head, desired by a girl with mysterious powers, and guarded by a beautiful female android.

      • The fembot in this series is present in episodes 1-6, & 9. She has a pull string on her lower back that can turn her off and turn her back on. The main character frequently pulls it so he can do things she would otherwise disapprove of.
  • Diebuster II
    • Synopsis: Top o Nerae 2! Diebuster follows the story of Nono, a country girl who dreams of becoming a space pilot (or to be more precise, 'like Nonoriri,' the meaning of which is revealed as the series progresses) who, due to a chance encounter with an actual space pilot finds herself becoming part of the elite Fraternity. Made up of teenage pilots called Topless, and armed with quasi-humanoid weapons called Buster Machines, the Fraternity's mission is to protect the people of the Solar System from attack by swarms of space monsters.

  • Dirty Pair Flash
    • Episode: My Boys in Rose Color
      • Synopsis: Kei discovers that Yuri is hanging out with a young teenager, and goes over to them to give Yuri a slap on the back, but Yuri's head falls off! It turns out the boy had created a life-size android of his crush, Yuri! Oops! Kei apologizes, but the 3WA wants more than an apology. While the android is being repaired, Yuri is ordered to take the place of her look-alike. Yuri protests until she learns that the boy is part of an extremely wealthy and influential family that even funds the 3WA. This is Yuri's big chance to finally date and marry rich, and the boy's chance to be with the real Yuri! But the boy only cares about his Yuri's ideal traits of being sweet and innocent, and shuns the realistic ones that she and every girl have. Can Yuri win him over without losing herself in the process?

    • Synopsis: Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of the adult Goku who, along with his companions, defends the earth against an assortment of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors, unnaturally powerful androids and near indestructible magical creatures.

      • The character, Android 18, appears starting in the Androids saga and appears recurringly from that moment on, even in Dragon Ball GT. While she is called Android 18, she is in fact a cyborg, since she was at one point a human.

  • El-Hazard
    • Fembot summary: The fabled "demon-god" of El-Hazard. Ifurita is a construct created by an ancient civilization as an "ultimate weapon" who is brought under Jinnai's control after being awakened by Makoto.
    • Appearances: Ifurita appears in episodes 1, 4, & 6 of OVA 1, and in episodes 1-4 of OVA 2.

  • Ghost in the Shell
    • Stand Alone Complex
      • Episode 1: Section 9
        • Synopsis: Major Kusanagi and Section 9 are called in to resolve a hostage crisis at a Geisha house staffed by an android Geisha. After the crisis is averted Aramaki is approached by a friend of his in the military who reveals that one of the hostages in the Geisha house was under investigation after requesting a report detailing military actions to be taken in the event of various states of emergency. Given the sensitive nature of the case, Section 9 is therefore asked to pick up the investigation where the original team left off.

      • Episode 14: Ye$
        • Synopsis: Acting on a tip, Section 9 breaks up a cabal of thieves hell bent on wrecking a Japanese financial institution. Shortly after the raid a Chinese intelligence official contacts Section 9 and informs them of suspicious activity that he believes may indicate an assassination attempt by Chinese Socialists on a prominent, yet reclusive, Japanese multi-millionaire. Section 9 is therefore tasked with protecting the millionaire, a 56-year-old ex-mathematician who has amassed a fortune by playing the stock market.

      • Episode 15: Machine Desirantes
        • Synopsis: The Major has become worried about the Tachikomas. It appears that their AIs have developed much more quickly and in ways that were not anticipated; they have begun speaking about their "individuality". Worried, the Major calls Batou to a meeting; the Tachikomas, having suspicions of their own, attempt to eavesdrop on their conversation. What will be the fate of Section 9's Tachikomas?

      • Episode 21: Eraser
        • Synopsis: Togusa finds himself in the hospital after being shot, but is desperate to impart what he's learned to the rest of the group. Through Togusa's memories, Section 9 experiences the DEA raid against the Sunflower Society, prompting anger and rage. Elsewhere, high ranking elements of the Japanese government have launched their own campaign against Section 9 in an effort to bury the truth of the Laughing Man case, backing the NSS against Section 9. Who will prevail?

  • Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara
    • Episode 3:
      • Synopsis: Souta wakes up in his room, only to find out Akane and Megumu is in his room, led by Okiku. Ruri is delivered to the Quest Dorm. The Quest Dorm is forced to enter Hatagaya Academy's Sport Festival and win the MVP in order to prevent the dorm from being demolished, as well as prevent Souta from being expelled. Rin is sent to help Quest Dorm in winning the MVP title, so she starts an extreme training routine. Despite the "hate guy" flag she possess, Rin once had a male friend named "Souda", whom she still exchange mails. It is revealed that "Souda" is actually Souta, and they were childhood friends.

    • Episode 2: Beautiful Enemy
      • Synopsis: "Kikaider and 01 meet a an android working for SHADOW named Bijinder and fight her, but eventually escapes. They later meet Hakaider and his squad and discovered they are actually Professor Gil and his most loyal companions. They ultimately defeat the squad but Professor Gil manages to escape."

      • Synopsis: "Kikaider and 01 fighting more of SHADOW's minions. The priest introduces Kikaider 00 (Rei)who was previously a failed version of Kikaider. Reiko leads them to a damn to use a safe house but SHADOW eventually catch up to them where Hakaider reveals to Reiko that she is actually a cyborg with memories of another girl. Hakaider kills Reiko and captures Akira. Bijinder joins Kikaider due to feeling sadness for Reiko's death."

      • Synopsis: "After capturing Akira, Hakaider uses Akira to launch Amagedroid and destroys the town. Kikaider, 01, 00, and bijinder try to destroy the ammageddongod. 01, 00 and Bijinder get captured and have been given a submission chip to control them. Kikaider is eventually defeated by his companions and is given the submission chip. When Akira is under stress, Hakaider puts him under the care of Bijinder where she escapes with him. Kikaider now under the submission chip defeats his 01, and 00 and destorys Hakaider. The episode ends with Akira meeting the real Reiko and Jiro having become human walking into the sunset."

    • Fembot summary: There is a fembot maid with an extremely perky personality, but the main fembot in this series is a gigantic robot in the form of a young woman.
    • Synopsis: In a world where giant rude robots are common and used to fight wars appears a giant Handcrafted robot that defeats the major armies of the world. Meanwhile in a kingdom where 3 sisters reign in peace and harmony there is a secret that they keep from the rest of the world until they must use a Doll-looking robot to protect their nation, even when her creator refuses to put her friend in danger.

  • Mazinkaiser
    • Episode 3: Kouji Assassination Order!
      • Synopsis: Enraged with the appearance of Mazinkaiser, Dr. Hell is furious with Baron Ashura. However, the wily henchman informs his master that he has already dispatched his three cute daughters to deal with Kouji, since without Kouji to pilot it Mazinkaiser is useless. Ashura's daughters attack Boss by mistake, prompting Dr. Yumi and Sayaka to forbid Kouji from leaving the Lab until the situation changes. Hot-headed as ever, Kouji sneaks out anyway and battles the three daughters of Ashura, who turn out to be killer androids. He defeats them just in time to rescue Sayaka and Boss from a Mechanical Beast. The episode finishes with the introduction of Lori and Loru, two busty American sisters who are Dr. Yumi's assistants. This episode introduces the Mazinkaiser version of Venus A, piloted by Sayaka instead of Jun.

      • Synopsis: The Avengers are attacked by robotic versions of themselves as part of Ultron 's plan to replace humanity. One by one, each team member is captured until Captain America stands alone against Ultron and his synthezoid Avengers.

    • Episode: Terry's Friend Dates a Robot
      • Synopsis: It depicts the troubles that arise when Terry's friend Howard illegally gets a synthoid that can double for a human. Fed up with being seen as a loser and sad no one will come to his house party, Howard believes that getting an attractive girlfriend will earn him popularity. When he goes to a synthoid factory with Terry, he finds he can get a custom-made robot that appears to be human. However, after Howard buys his new girlfriend, he soon learns that she's completely amoral — as well as far too possessive.

  • Duck Dodgers
    • Episode: Of Course You Know This Means War and Peace
      • Synopsis: Dodgers accidentally causes an incident during a peace treaty between Earth and Mars and gets Cadet to take the fall. While in prison, the Cadet is angry at Dodgers and terminates their friendship. Meanwhile, one of the Martian Generals, Z-9, takes the opportunity to plot a military coup on Mars by betraying Queen Tyran'hee and holding her hostage, sending Star Johnson to prison after the latter learns about the plot, and forcing Commander X-2 on the run as a wanted criminal. Z-9 also plans to use Dodgers in order to get the shutdown codes of Earth's defense system to finalize his takeover of not only Earth, but also the rest of the Galactic Protectorate.

      • Synopsis: The Misfits have managed to trick the only singer that hadn't arrived yet to appear in the Jem Jam, by picking her up at the airport claiming to be Jem's chaffeurs. Krissie doesn't get along with one of the performers' son, who expect her to treat him like a superstar. From what Ba Nee remembers that her mother once told her, she is certain one of the performers is her father. The Misfits plan to upstage the Jem Jam with one of Techrat's new gimmicks.

    • Episode: The Beginning
      • Synopsis: Dr. Wily, Proto Man and six Robot Masters assault an airport and Mega Man is called upon for help. When Roll's safety is in jeopardy during the battle, Mega Man gets critically damaged. While Dr. Light repairs Mega Man, he begins having flashbacks to the day this all began when Proto Man was first created, when Wily turned on Dr. Light, when Rock and Roll were created and when Rock was rebuilt into Mega Man. Mega Man is repaired and along with Roll takes the fight to Wily once more.

    • Episode: Robosaur Park
      • Synopsis: A new theme park has opened called Robosaur Park and Dr. Light helped construct the robo-dinosaurs. But, Dr. Wily's robots gained easy access thanks to the crooked operator of the park and reprogrammed the dinos to go on a rampage. Then, Dr. Wily releases a serum that is meant to transform robots into primates... and Mega Man, Roll and Rush catch it. If a cure is not delivered soon, Mega Man will become Mega Caveman!...

    • Episode: The Incredible Shrinking Mega Man
      • Synopsis: Dr. Wily sends his robots to steal some rare and powerful gems that - if used as a weapon - can actually shrink objects, no matter how big. When Mega Man tries to stop the museum robbery, he finds himself and Rush to be the first targets of this weapon and get shrunk. It is later discovered that Dr. Wily will use the new shrinking weapon to shrink entire cities and sell them to criminals. Dr. Light sends Roll to find Mega Man and Rush and help them prevent this deal from going down.

    • Episode: The Curse of the Lion Men
      • Synopsis: When Dr. Wily's robots are sent out to investigate the crash site of a comet, they inadvertently stumble upon a group of humanoid lion creatures, which proceed to go around turning other humans into lion creatures. When Mega Man enters battle with them, things go from bad-enough-already to even-worse-than-imagined when Dr. Wily makes a truce with Tar, the leader of the Lion Men. Then, after Wily's robots capture Dr. Light and Roll, Tar transforms both Light and Dr. Wily into lion men and uses Wily's own reprogramming ray to reprogram Roll, ProtoMan and the Robot Masters. That means Mega Man and Rush are all alone in this battle.

      • Synopsis: When Mom becomes overwhelmed with organizing a block party, she asks Phineas and Ferb for their help in making the party’s finale memorable.   • Space Firebird
    • Synopsis: Phoenix 2772 is set in the distant future where the planet Earth is dying from a lack of energy resources and a disheartening political climate sees all human beings produced by computers to live out certain social roles, the colour of the eyes determining the baby's rank, from pilot to politician, etc. Godo is one such child brought up to be a cadet and nursed by the beautiful robot-maid Olga. After noticing his exceptional abilities, Rock, a dictatorial candidate for prime minister, selects Godo to fulfill his agenda and travel into deep space and capture the mystical Phoenix, its blood will manifestly heal the Earth (and selfishly make Rock prime minister). This eventually proves hard for Godo for many reasons, partly because he has a love of all living creatures and he detests his being trained for what appears to be that of a ruthless hunter. He is also to leave his one friend in his adolescence, Olga, to deletion. Most importantly he elopes with Rena, a "daughter of the elite" and bride-to-be of Rock when it is forbidden for his rank to communicate with such a woman.
