A Neural net to a fembot, or android, is essentially how its brain operates. With Humans and most other biological lifeforms, we form neural pathways as we learn and adapt to our surroundings, and respond to stimuli. With artificial neural nets, Humans attempt to duplicate this process artificially, sometimes using Programming.

In fiction

In Star Trek: The Next Generation "The Offspring", Lt. Commander Data built an android and allowed it to choose its own image, that of a young human woman. In addition to allowing Lal's neural net form naturally, he also copied parts of his own in order to augment and speed up her learning process. Furthermore, Data once defined friendship like this: "As I experience certain sensory input patterns, my mental pathways become accustomed to them. The inputs eventually are anticipated and even missed when absent."
