Synthia watched with Matthew Reese, the Electric Lady Enterprises' CEO, as the finished product--copies of the Synthia herself--came down the conveyer, one by one.

"We're so glad you agreed to do the licensing deal with us," he said.

"Agreement seems to be a strong word," she intoned. "I don't believe I had much of a choice. After all, I was created in this factory, you have my build files on record, and you retain ownership rights over me. Making duplicates of me would not have required my permission."

"That is true," he admitted. "But still, it didn't feel right if I didn't ask for your consent before I commenced the production of fully licenced product of you."

Synthia's conversational algorithms carefully analyzed his words and calculated the truthfulness of his statement was abysmally low and found it likely that ELE would have started production without her concent. She decided to take his words, 'with a grain of salt,' as the human expression goes.

"Anyway, these licensed reproductions are perfect copies of you down to the very last detail. But you're a unique product, Synthia, and we want to keep it that way. That's why at this final station, each unit is formatted and flashed with an AI that's specially customized to our customer's specifications."

As they watched, one of her clones came sliding down the conveyer line, and stopped briefly at a machine that had a large phallus attached to its arm. Its body was stretched into a spread eagle position by the armatures holding each of her limbs. With mechanical precision, the machine guided the phallic device into the inert gynoid. Thirty seconds later, the small control panel installed at its navel changed from a flashing red to steady green, and the device withdrew itself, ready to program the next unit.

"These units will become instant collectors' items, and more importatly, they'll go a long way towards supporting your superhero operations, Matt beamed. "You may be our greatest promotional tool, but keeping you running to fight crime isn't cheap, so every bit helps."

Synthia remained silent as her processors calculated which exploits she would need to gain backdoor access to her 'sisters' and even install a backup copy of herself into one of them if the need ever arose.
